My son, Luke, will be three in January and was born with a single ventricle. He's had two of his three scheduled open-heart surgeries, with his next planned for the summer of 2010. I have really appreciated your last posts, so much of what you wrote resonates with me and my heart right now. Those big questions, that heavy responsibilities, those big decisions ... It can be overwhelming for sure. Which is why I've been trying to cling ever more lately to the Lord's HUGE arms. So thank you for your honesty and for sharing your family's story. It is so comforting to know other moms have the same swirling thoughts as me! Praying for all our heart friends to stay free and clear from H1N1 this year. Luke has had his first dose and my hubby and I just got our shots last week. We will be glad to be through this winter! God bless, Jesse Hi Jen-
